  1. DJ-PRO v1.2b Music collection Database

  4. This program is yet another database to keep track of your music
  5. collection. Designed to be quick and responsive on even low-end systems
  6. it was written specifically for a professional DJ who tried most of the
  7. other shareware offerings and just got frustrated by their poor
  8. performance and awkward user interfaces.

  10. Quick data entry, flexible (and fast) search routines, a wide variety
  11. of printed reports, designed for LARGE collections (thousands of
  12. albums), give it a try - you're bound to like it.

  15. ========
  16. This distribution disk (or ZIP file, depending on how you received it)
  17. should contain:

  19. READ.ME      -  What you're reading
  20. DJPRO.EXE    -  What you execute
  21. DJPRO.DOC    -  What nobody ever reads
  22. SAMPLE.MDB   -  What you might use if you read the DOC file
  23. FILE_ID.DIZ  -  What BBS's like to find

  25. Installation
  26. ============

  28. Simply copy DJPRO.EXE to the directory you wish to keep it in. Note
  29. that the program will expect to find/create its database in the
  30. directory from which it is run, so it's probably better to create a
  31. separate directory for DJPRO.

  33. Example (assuming C: is your hard drive and A: is the distribution
  34. disk)
  35.  
  36.         C:> MD \DJPRO
  37.         C:> CD \DJPRO
  38.   C:\DJPRO> COPY A:DJPRO.EXE
  39.  
  40. Thats it! The program needs nothing else to run. Simply type DJPRO to
  41. run the program.  If you want to find out about SAMPLE.MDB I guess
  42. you'll just have to read the DOC.

  46. This program is 'Freeware'. That is, the author wants nothing for its
  47. use other than your feedback. It can be freely distributed on any FTP
  48. Sites, BBS systems, Shareware collections, etc.
