DJ-PRO v1.2b Music collection Database
======================================
This program is yet another database to keep track of your music
collection. Designed to be quick and responsive on even low-end systems
it was written specifically for a professional DJ who tried most of the
other shareware offerings and just got frustrated by their poor
performance and awkward user interfaces.
Quick data entry, flexible (and fast) search routines, a wide variety
of printed reports, designed for LARGE collections (thousands of
albums), give it a try - you're bound to like it.
Contents
========
This distribution disk (or ZIP file, depending on how you received it)
should contain:
READ.ME - What you're reading
DJPRO.EXE - What you execute
DJPRO.DOC - What nobody ever reads
SAMPLE.MDB - What you might use if you read the DOC file
FILE_ID.DIZ - What BBS's like to find
Installation
============
Simply copy DJPRO.EXE to the directory you wish to keep it in. Note
that the program will expect to find/create its database in the
directory from which it is run, so it's probably better to create a
separate directory for DJPRO.
Example (assuming C: is your hard drive and A: is the distribution
disk)
C:> MD \DJPRO
C:> CD \DJPRO
C:\DJPRO> COPY A:DJPRO.EXE
Thats it! The program needs nothing else to run. Simply type DJPRO to
run the program. If you want to find out about SAMPLE.MDB I guess
you'll just have to read the DOC.
Status
======
This program is 'Freeware'. That is, the author wants nothing for its
use other than your feedback. It can be freely distributed on any FTP
Sites, BBS systems, Shareware collections, etc.
Support
=======
Have fun! Any and all comments, suggestions, criticisms, bugs,
stupidities, etc. are welcome. I know mail is a pain, but I really
would appreciate it. If you decided to use it, great! If you didn't,
tell me why.
